The Librarian is a minor antagonist of the 2013 Disney/Pixar animated film, Monsters University. She is an elderly female huge, gray, octopus-like monster with huge tentacles, waiting to grab noisy students. She works at Monsters University's school library. Her eyesight may be failing, but she can smell and hear a student a mile away. Whenever the librarian hears one, she grabs them in her tentacles and tosses them out of the library.
