Lucius Malfoy is a major antagonist in the Harry Potter franchise. He is portrayed by Jason Isaacs.
He serves as the main antagonist of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, then as a supporting antagonist in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, as the secondary antagonist of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, and a supporting antagonist-turned defective character in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. He is Draco Malfoy's father, and a Death Eater working for Lord Voldemort.
During the first Wizarding War, Mr. Malfoy was one of Voldemort's most loyal followers however after Voldemort's downfall, Lucius pretended that he had been under the influence of the Imperius Curse. He was able to keep his job, and prevented him from going to Azkaban in the Second Wizarding War shortly before the end he among his son and wife defected to the Hogwarts defenders
