Mongul is a powerful alien and a Ruler of War-World and one of Superman's enemies but often along Darkseid and Brainiac. He has also appeared in Bronze Age arc. In all versions where Mongul appeared he was portrayed as a cruel tyrant, he is also hated by Superman, and the two simply have a similar rivalry relationship that Superman has with Lex Luthor and Darkseid. During Underworlds Unleashed, he was offered power by the demon, called Neron. However, because of his pride, he was soon killed by Neron, and his soul was taken by him.
