Unknown Man is a villain who appeared in Elfen Lied. He only appeared in the manga. And its name is derived from a fan, so it seems universal. He is a master manipulator, a homicidal maniac, and a murderer and a hunter as well as sadistic pedophile who loves to makes others suffer.
History[]
Apparition[]
He first appeared Director Kakuzawa's underground cave on the island's premises, as director confers to his transformed daughter, the oracle/Anna Kakuzawa. Both he and scientist Doctor Arakawa are charged with recapturing the Diclonius Lucy who is considered the first Diclonius. And since he's arrogant and confident of his abilities, Unknown Man makes a bet with Arakawa over who will capture Lucy first, and his victory will make Lucy his sex slave; and it will cost his manhood, and he will have to wear a chain around his neck. Arakawa later learns that Unknown Man has freedom over the Diclonius girls who are kept in the facility, and had already raped some of her brutally. He targets one more, which is a Diclonius than a girl known only by the name Number 28, which she then continues to inflict pain on, she is slashed in two and with a crooked torso, and with cut vocal cords and a device placed so that her vectors cannot be used, even though live locator for the other Diclonius and placing her body as a life system even if she would not have lasted a week, inside a carrying bag, that he was sure Lucy would be power.
Hunting Lucy[]
He went to a town called Komakura that took him to the Mable House, but Lucy wasn't home, but the Unknown Man's locator would never have worked if she was there. Lucy's horns would be carried away in battle, while leaving most Diclonius in how or would kill them. With that loss would leave the dominance of Lucy's infantile personality that is Nyu. While Arakawa panicked when he discovered that the hostage was Lucy. And with that failure Arakawa braced himself for the Unknown Man sex toy. However, the locator found the second resident a Diclonius at Mable House, which was Nana who was with Mayu and her dog, Wanta. Entering the house Unknown Man was furious to locate another Diclonius by accident, he then killed Number 28, although it was an unintentional mercy. He then fired the crossbow which is a neurotoxin-tipped steel ball that incapacitated Nana, he then turned his attention to Mayu, and stating his desire to play with a human girl for a change. Mayu who had been raped by his stepfather and had his mother reject him, and froze when those memories came back, but then retaliated, only to see Wanta attack him, yet he threatened Mayu not only with the rape but with her, disfigurement, to add insult and injury, the Unknown Man insulted her in the measures of figuring her body while he began to undress her.
However, when Bando appeared, as he was summoned by Mayu, and one of him in the head and began to beat him mercilessly, until in a distraction of Mayu. let Unknown Man take his crossbow and shoot a thorn ball at Bando, however Bando used his cyber-hand to remove the ball which he then pushed into the Unknown Man anus, then the Unknown Man ran screaming in pain and unable to reach the ball let alone toss it.
Death[]
After being wounded and defeated, he saw Bando and Lucy fight, and when the opportunity was given to Unknown Man, and in a strange twist, Unknown Man begged Lucy not to kill him, Lucy showed his appreaciation for Unknown Man by severing his head, with one of his vectors and throwing head from Unknown Man to the Bando.
Weapons and Origins[]
He had the crossbow that could cast iron balls and thorns, and a locator that locater Diclonius, and had a device that could prevent the Diclonius from the vectors, its origins not much revealed in Elfen Lied, the only clue about him, is that he could be a member of the Kakuzawa clan. And after his death, which did not shake Kakuzawa in the slightest, and even though he was a relative, and after all the cruel acts Unknown Man caused, he was dismissed for both Lucy and Kakuzawa, as well as any other soldier from Elfen Lied.
